Breadcrumb-type synthetic rubber has a great capacity for the adsorption of fatty graphite compositions (grading 2B and higher, charcoals). It erases easily without the need to press on the surface of the paper, forming soft crumbs. It is also used to erase or blur strokes of charcoal drawings.
